Brandon Raynor is an Australian trained Naturopath who came up with a simple yet very effective form of massage therapy. He started teaching his massage courses in Sydney, Australia in 1997 and by 2001 was holding massage courses across Australia. In 2002, he held his first massage course in London.

His unique massage courses are a very effective combination of massage techniques drawn from worldwide massage styles, such as Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, acupressure, shiatsu, Thai massage, Hawaiian massage and Ayurvedic massage. He also uses many massage techniques that he created himself.

Raynor Massage Certificate

5 full days of intensive "hands-on" massage training

We run 5 day workshops in Raynor Massage in over 7 countries worldwide. The courses run from 9 am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. Our 5 day Certificate course teaches the basic essence of Raynor massage including all the major parts of the body including the abdominal area. We are massaging from Day 1 of the course and very little time is spent in a non practical way after the 3 hour introductory talk that covers contraindications, hygiene, professional ethics and other aspects of theory associated with Raynor massage. The rest of the course is spent either massaging, being massaged or watching the teacher demonstration and talk through a Raynor bodywork treatment. Many people can't believe how good they feel just from the receiving massage aspect of this course especially if they have volunteered for a demonstration treatment from one of our teachers.

Raynor Massage Diploma

5 days of the Raynor Massage Diploma program following the 5 day of the Certificate course program

The Raynor Massage Diploma Course teaches you more advanced aspects of the bodywork including more practice at the techniques, reflexology of the feet and the hands, an introduction to aromatherapy, which is the use of 100% pure essential oils in your massage. The course culminates in a student clinic where members of the public are invited to attend and receive a session from one of the students. Our student clinic, on the last day of our course, is also an opportunity for people who are interested in attending one of our courses to attend and receive a $20 massage so that potential students can judge for themselves whether this sort of training is right for them. Advanced Raynor Massage Diploma

Advanced training for experienced graduates of the Raynor Massage Certificate course

Our Advanced Practitioners program course personally is being tutored by the principal of the school Brandon Raynor, on fine tuning techniques and also on developing effective strategies to massaging people and focusing on the chi release and emotional release aspects of the massage. Brandon Raynor also regularly travels the world to conduct our Advanced Massage Diploma Courses. These 5 day intensive courses for Raynor Massage Practitioners are only taught by the founder of Raynor massage and focus on developing the practitioner’s ability as a refined massotherapy artist in finding and removing tension from the body. During this course participants are also able to receive treatments from Brandon Raynor and so experience first hand the benefits of Raynor bodywork from its founder. In 2002, Brandon started teaching his massage courses London, Edinburgh and Manchester. Since then we have taught more than 20 massage courses in the UK and have taught several massage courses in Dublin, Ireland and Munich, Germany as well.

The 5 day Raynor Massage Certificate Course teaches the essence of Raynor massage. Raynor massage has as its goal the elimination of all muscle tension in the body. To do this we locate tight muscles by touch, then using the theory that all tightness in the body exists as bands, or meridians, we follow the bands to get rid of tension from the source. This is similar to the acupressure meridians of shiatsu. It’s a very comprehensive hands on course that is deep tissue, yet it’s totally suitable for beginners.

The 10 day Raynor Massage Diploma Course includes the 5 days of the Certificate Course and has 5 more days of massaging added. As well as giving the student extra time to have supervised practice we have a full day of reflexology which is the art of finding spots on the hands and feet that have a reflex action on another part of the body. The 10 day Diploma Course also includes a full day of aromatherapy.

Aromatherapy is the art of using 100% natural essential oils to enhance the therapeutic effects of your body massage treatment. For example Lavender oil can be used to help a client relax while Eucalyptus can be used to stimulate and loosen tight muscles.

The 10 day Diploma Course also has a full day student clinic. Student’s friends and family are invited on this day for a free massage.

There are no prerequisites to any of our courses except for our Advanced Raynor Massage Diploma Course, which is taught by the founder of the school, Brandon Raynor Students applying for this course must have completed the 10 day Raynor Massage Diploma Course. Insurance is available after completing our massage course and you are able to practice in the UK and the Republic of Ireland as well as many other places throughout the world.
